Our college's International Logistics and Design Society organized a technical field trip to Giresun Port under the supervision of Society Advisor Dr. Mustafa ERGÜN, aiming to enable students to combine their theoretical knowledge with practical experience. During the field trip, the port area was toured under the guidance of Tugboat Captain Gökhan YILDIRIM. Students had the opportunity to examine the storage areas and the technical equipment used in port operations firsthand. Following the field trip, informative seminars were held with the participation of industry professionals. In this context:

made comprehensive presentations to the students on customs operations, port processes, and occupational safety. The event concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session where students asked the experts questions they were curious about. Thanks to this technical field trip, future logistics professionals gained valuable insights into the sector by observing professional processes in the field.
